The match was played on a very heavy pitch which was very uneven due to the weather.
Also a strong breeze to contend with on a tight park however both teams tried to play it on the ground but proved difficult.
The away team opened the scoring when Mark brown slipped in Gregor Gwynn to cross in from the left  to Connor Mcateer who saw his first attempt saved but followed up to put the rebound in the net.
Colts pressured the home defence for much of the first half but Farm had a shot on goal but Ewan walker dealt with it comfortably. Farm goalkeeper who was the clear man of the match saved superbly from a Cammy McKay free kick.
Colts could have doubled there lead but Mcateer saw his effort come back off the crossbarr. The home goalie had an easier save from a Kieron Struthers header from a Pirrie corner kick then later Pirrie saw the busy goalie save his effort on goal. Mark brown thought he had scored but his shot looped just over from a Josh Devine cross in.
Half Time: Yett Farm 0-1 Cumbernauld Colts
2-0 eventually came after Colts continued to dominate the attacks on goal and Pirrie was rewarded after he saw his strike from inside the box finish in the back of the net.
The 3rd goal came when McKay pounced on a spill by the goalie after he couldn't hold onto a strike at goal from Pirrie
. Ryan Milne and Sam Rodger nearly added to the Colts goal tally as they both had efforts narrowly miss the target. It was however the home side who reduced the deficit after the scored there only goal from a penalty which was duly converted.
Both teams huffed and puffed trying to adapt to the difficult surface and kept creating chances which saw McKay finish off a goalmouth scramble to make the final score 4-1.
Full Time: Yett Farm 1-4 Cumbernauld Colts.
