The match was played on the grass park at Braehead in Stirling and the surface was surprisingly good despite the previously wet spell we have encountered. Milton started the match at their usual high tempo and put the visitors under early pressure forcing Dunipace keeper Calum Gray into action.
Both teams battled hard for the opener but Milton had the vast majority of possession and the Dunipace defence were under constant pressure. In the 5th minute Milton came close when from a Jake Hurry corner, Declan Valentine cracked a shot off the post.
After 20 minutes of play Milton finally broke the deadlock and it was from a defensive mix up at a Dunipace throw in that Milton's Ross Leary latched on to a loose pass and fired home from 30yards as Gray in the visitors goal was left stranded. Despite constant pressure Milton did not manage to increase their lead before the referee brought the first half to a close.

After the break Milton continued where they left off and in the 2nd minute after the restart doubled their advantage when Jake Hurry took advantage of a miss-kick from Gray in the visitor's goal and fired a home in off the keeper's left hand upright.
Within minutes Milton went three up with forward Grieg Ballantyne netting from a pass by Hurry and Ballantyne netted again in the 53rd minute when he gave the keeper no chance with a thunderous shot high into the visitors net.
Dunipace then managed to gradually get into the match and in the 68th minute reduced the deficit when Milton's keeper Liam Stirling was finally beaten when a shot from the edge of his area sailed high into the top corner of the net.
Milton tightened up and gained control of the match with good possession and in the final minute Ballantyne completed the scoring and a personal hat-trick when after a fine passing interchange by his team mates he fired passed Gray to make the final score Milton five Dunipace one.
Milton now top the section with 8 points from four matches with only two more games to play.
