Albion Rovers went into this top of table clash knowing that a point would be enough to keep them at the top of table against a Larkhall team who had performed excellently all season, both teams along with Eastend thistle battling for the title.
The game had a frantic start with Larkhall breaking through the Rovers defence and almost taking lead. The first half was one of many chances for both teams however both goalies were on top form.
Half Time: Albion Rovers FCBC 0-0 Larkhall United FC
The second half was more attacking from rovers and should have taken the lead when mechan released an excellent half volley which was saved superbly by Larkhall goalie, again Rovers had chances with Banks shot saved off the line, Mccallum hitting post along with Mcintosh.
In the dying moments Larkhall broke through and almost sneaked it in the end however Mcallister was able to make the save.
In injury time there was a goalmouth scramble which Daly almost squeezed in, but to no avail.
A very entertaining 0-0 draw which keeps Rovers 6 points clear of Larkhall and 2 ahead of Eastend with game in hand.
Star PlayerS: Rovers Daly and Larkhall No. 1 Goalkeeper.
