Gow Valley took on Oban in the final match of the Scottish Youth Champions League group stages. Group A was finely poised with Gow and Milngavie leading the way with four points from two games. However, Oban's victory over Letham Tangerines had given them a fighting chance of progressed - they required maximum points from this tie to pip Gow to a semi final spot.
Gow took an early lead when Scott Thomson dribbled past two defenders and tapped the ball past the keeper to open the scoring.
Shortly after the Gow doubled their lead when Liam Gibson snatched the ball from the defenders feet and rushed into the box to slot the ball home from close range.

The second half wasn't short on entertainment from the start either as Gow added a third goal again through number Thomson. His powerful run from midfield resulted in him blasting the ball into the back of the Saints net.
Saints' only real chance of the game came when Caleb Jack volleyed just wide of the far post. Straight from the resulting goal kick Gow again scored this time with a well timed cross from the right wing being tapped home by number Connor McGrane.
Just before the end Gow added another when Lee Stubbs blasted a shot from the edge of the box which the keeper could only stand and watch hit the back of his net.
