PGBC 2004 Orange
The 2004s lost out to KCFC wasps last Thursday night, the boys didn’t start well and let their opponents take a three goal lead, slack play and individual errors cost the boys. In the 2nd half they played much better, scoring two good goals, which should have been more.. The boys can take heart from a good 2nd half performance. Best for the Port were the impressive Brady on the right hand side, capping off a good night with a goal, and Fuller on the left who also done really well. Thanks to parents for continued support.

The port boys entertained Glenvale FC at the Parklea community stadium at the weekend with the boys taking the game to Glenvale right from the first whistle the pace of the boys catching their opponents off guard to lead within the first minute of the game from a quick taken kick in and a fine strike, the remainder of the first half played inside the Glenvale half with some good attacking football resulting in some more goals, a few substitutions and a shuffle of positions at half time saw the boys start the second half the way the first had ended working hard in all areas of the park, a combination of work rate and good football saw the boys add to their lead with a few more goals, credit to the goalkeeper, defence and midfield who were more than comfortable with the Glenvale attacks resulting in a clean sheet and a well earned victory for the boys on the day. Goal scorers Creen, McPhee, Emerson and Bonnar. Players and coaches thank B. Buick and sons (bodyshop) for continued support.
The boys lost out to a travelling Erskine side, although at times they played some good football it wasn’t enough to secure a victory, well done to Connor O’Rourke, Luke Cunningham and Joseph Dow.

Port Glasgow Boys Club 2001s played there local rivals at the Juniors at Parklea Community Stadium on Saturday. The boys started the game well and Ryan Phillips opened his account early with a great solo goal, then set up Declan Adair with a good cross into the box. Port boys where now passing the ball about well and totally dominating there opponents. Further goals from Ryan now with his hat trick, Jack and Brandon also added to the tally of goals before half time. The second half started the same as the first with Port Boys on the attack and further goals where scored from David Curley and Declan, securing his hat trick. Ross McKay came on and played up front and he also scored a hat trick this was a good team performance to keep Ports unbeaten run going . The team are looking for players to add to the squad for the step up to 11 aside football if interested contact Ian on 07753846465.

PGBC 16s 4 Mojams White 0
Scorers: Arron Folan 2 James Stone Christopher Grierson
Port continue to improve with a convincing victory over Mojams, with a fest first half of football, their best in a long time. Stone was the butt of the jokes prior to kick off with his shooting being of the rugby type, scoring the first goal rubbing everybody's nose in it. he then had to come off with an injury. Folan replaced him and scored a brace but knows he could have had more. Young Chrissy scored his from some fine work from the bear (Kyle) down the right side giving him an easy tap in. This was a good team performance with Wiggins pulling off a world class save from point blank range, who would be a goal keeper.

PGBC 19s 4 Clydebank South 2
The 19s gained 3 valuable points on Sunday against a tough Clydebank side, Ryan McCorkindale and Jamie Curran both added to their seasons tally, and after only 8 months Grant Jackson finally hut the back of the net, his first goal for the Port quite an important one. With Grant flying high the Port kept hold of the ball and not to be outdone Darren (Shiner) Boyle kept up by adding his 1st of the season too.
Refs motm Grant Jackson
PGBC 21s 2 Kirkintilloch 0
