A cold and wet Saturday morning were the conditions for Accies vs Tass Thistle. With the rain pouring down, referee Ryan Cox got the game underway. This was his first match as referee.

In the first ten seconds of the match, Tass lost possession at the back which allowed Hannah Scott to dispossess the Tass defence and curl the ball into the net for the opening goal of the game.

Accies were starting the the better team. As the short throw in was played to the feet of Chloe Blair who volleyed the ball goalwards which was parried by the Tass keeper Ciara Pollock into the feet of Scott who saw the rebound saved again by Pollock.

Tass began to get back into the game after early pressure from Accies, the ball switched from the left hand side to the feet of Melissa Pirrie on the right who shot but was well saved  by the Accies keeper.

Tass were beginning to increase the pressure on Accies' one goal lead.

Thistle were desperately unlucky not to level the match when Wilson shot with the outside of her left foot which struck the post and the rebound was gathered by the Accies keeper.

Against the run of play, Accies doubled their lead and Scott doubled her goal scoring tally. She dribbled past two Tass defenders and hit a powerful shot which hit the bar but the rebound fell kindly for her as she slotted home to give Accies a two goal advantage.

Scott was eager to try and seal her hat-trick but her solo effort ended in an effort which went inches last the post.

Half Time: Hamilton Academical White 2-0 Tass Thistle

Accies started the second half as they had ended the first, with Tass on the backfoot.

A stinging shot from long range by Muir was parried by Pollock and cleared out of danger by the Thistle defence.

Soon after, a massive opportunity for Tass to get back into the match, A corner was whipped into the box from Wilson and met by the boot of Pirrie who's shot clipped the post and out for a goal kick.

From the goal kick, Accies stormed forward with the ball at Muir's feet she saw some space and unleashed a powerful shot that was too powerful for Pollock to prevent which gave Accies their third goal of the game.

Immediately from the kick off, Tass made their way up the park and a left foot shot from Wilson found its way into the bottom right corner. Tass weren't finished yet.

Tass began to dominate proceedings in search of another goal which could help them get back into the match.

With four minutes remaining, Tass' Wilson scored another cracking goal. An angled shot from the right hand side was curled over the head of the Accies keeper, and with help from the bar, found its way into the net. Game on.
A late opportunity for Accies to stretch their lead was saved fantastically by Pollock, preventing Accies from scoring again.

Ryan Cox can be happy with his first performance as their was no major incidents to deal its and let the game flow.
