YFS will be attending the highly anticipated Yorkhill Children's Foundation Charity Festival this Sunday, the 27th, at Ravenscraig indoor sports facility.

The tournament, run by the Lanarkshire Football Development Association, will include over 40 teams and around 400 kids taking part in the tournament, that looks to raise money for The Yorkhill Children's Foundation.

The tournament will be in seven-a-side format and will run from 9am to 4pm in four slots, the first three consisting of boys at the 2004 age group and the final slot reserved for girls between the ages of 6 and 9.

The whole day will be, first and foremost, a fun event for the kids, but will be hoping to raise a significant amount for the Yorkhill Children's Foundation. The charity aims to provide enhanced medical treatment for sick children in Yorkhill hospital and within NHS Greatest Glasgow and Clyde. You can find out more about the charity on their website by clicking here.

All who can are encouraged to attend this event, which is sure to be a fun day for all and for a fantastic cause.
