Scoring was opened ten minutes into the second period, with Ryan Strain giving the away side the lead.
Just two minutes later the hosts had the game back level. Continuing the competitive nature of the division three game.
The quick succession of goals continued as Kilwinning took the lead in the 61st minute through Billy McGinn, marking a third goal in four minutes.
The tight match up was put to bed by Austin Gunn just five minutes from the end as Kilwinning confirmed their three points.
Kilwinning are next in action on April 7th as they welcome one of the teams above them, Baljaffray FC, with an opportunity to go level on points with their opposition. Meanwhile, Alba are not in action again until the following week, where they will also host Baljaffray FC.
Alba are 15 points clear of RHU who sit directly behind them, so the Giffnock side will be looking forward for the remainder of the season knowing both Roma and Rutherglen are within reaching distance.
Kilwinning will be excited at the prospect of the remainder of the season, knowing that wins in all of their games in hand could see them as much as eight points clear at the top of the table. They will be confident in doing so, having not dropped a single point at home this season.
