Dunbeth netted on either side of half-time to record a comfortable FVFDA League Cup final victory over Dunblane at the Falkirk Stadium.
The Coatbridge club were the first to apply pressure and with just two minutes on the clock Aidan Gibb’s dangerous cross was headed wide by Aidan Stewart.
In the eighth minute, Dunbeth were at it again as Marc Lerey found space inside the penalty area but his strike was stopped by the leg of Robin Turnbull.
They were in no mood for slowing things down and on 15 minutes, Liam Hughes broke down the right and provoked a save at the near post. Lerey then cracked the rebound off the post before Dunblane scrambled clear.
However, Dunbeth got the goal they deserved in the 25th minute when an accurate ball in from the right found Stewart, who produced an exquisite half-volley on the turn to put his side in front.
On the half, they almost made it two.
Stewart turned provider to tee up Gibb but the midfielder’s shot was dragged narrowly wide of the post.
