Sygenta Juveniles capped a fine season with their second trophy in the space of a week at the expense of Cumbernauld Colts.
The Dyes ran out 5-0 winners in the FVFDA Cup final but were left frustrated in the early ages of the encounter.
Cumbernauld started well and within a minute Jamie Millar came close with a fizzing free-kick which was stopped by the feet of the goalkeeper.
In the 16th minute Luke Scullion’s cross found Josh MacDonald free in the box but his downward header was held by Allan Dickson.
Syngenta began to feel their way into the game and on 24 minutes, Grant Forrester controlled a long ball before cutting in from the left and dinking a ball into the area which narrowly missed the boot of Michael McQueen.
The deadlock was broken in the 34th minute and it it was Syngenta who drew first blood. Flynn Gray got on the end of a cross to divert a header off the upright and into the bottom left corner.
Syngenta extended their lead on the half when Aaron McMillan collected a ball in field and unleashed a screamer from 40 yards.
