Antonine welcomed Drumchapel United to Duntocher for this top of the table clash.
Both teams cancelled each other out at the start of the match but, in the ninth minute, a Danny Hamilton throw was flicked on by Adam Boyle and Chris Donaghy headed home with his seventh of the season to open the scoring for Antonine.
Five minutes later, it was all square when the Drum striker latched onto a through-ball and chipped over Andy Carroll to equalise.
Antonine were struggling to get into their passing game but were still on top without being at their best. Scott Hutton fired in a free kick that the keeper fumbled but nobody could take advantage of it.
In the 25th minute, Joe McKendrick passed to Owen Gallacher wide on the left and, from an acute angle, he smashed home his 17th of the season to put Antonine back in the lead.
Boyle, Hutton and Dean Miller all came close as Antonine turned the screw but could not add to the score before half time.
In the opening minute of the second half, Antonine did not deal with a high ball and Miller and the Drumchapel striker came together. The referee awarded a penalty and the Drumchapel player slotted home to equalise.
This spurred Antonine into action with Donaghy and Hutton both coming close. As the half wore on, Drumchapel came into the game and looked dangerous on the break. A quick move down the left wing saw Carroll make a great save, touching ball onto the post.
Antonine were pressing without creating anything and had a lucky break when the Drumchapel striker hit the ball straight at Carroll from eight yards. A couple of corners came to nothing as game finished all square.
Antonine picked the worst possible time to produce one of their worst performances of the season and still had enough chances to win. They travel to Blairdardie next Wednesday knowing that three points against the Drum again will guarantee winning the league. A big improvement is needed from their performance.
