Written by  Rossvale Madrid

Fixture: Rossvale Madrid v Wolves
Competition: Under 14's CSFA "A" League
Date: 14/02/15
In this Central League match both teams had played very little football due to the weather with Rossvale trying to pick themselves up from last weeks defeat.
Both teams probed early on with Rossvale winning the midfield battle but Wolves looked dangersous on the break with number seven Brandon Fallon playing some good stuff through to the forwards.
The Rossvale back line were defendeding well with a strong performance by Purdy. Rossvale then started to play some good stuff and Lee Sharp pulled a foul some twenty five yards out.
Midfielder Cavan Burns stepped up and placed it over the wall heading to keeper Jamie Kelly's right hand corner. Kelly pulled off an excellent save and from the resulting corner Burns swung it in and Lewis Wilson scored to make it 1-0.
The lively Sharp pulled another free kick and worked it well with Burns whos shot was just over the bar.
Wolves tried to get on level terms and some good play on the left from Dylan Price whos cross in was dealt with easily by Coyle. The half ended with everyone sensing Rossvale needed another goal as Wolves were on the ascendancy.
Half Time : Rossvale Madrid 1-0 Wolves
The second half started with Rossvale playing the ball up to the tall striker Declan Mclaughlin who knocked it through to Sharp with his back to goal. His turn and left foot shot was excellent and nestled in the corner of the net.
Rossvale should have pushed on but their midfield found little time on the ball and Wolves number twenty Dylan Collins & Bandon Fallon started to dominate. Coyle had to make a save with his feet on a 1-1 situation and you could sense a goal was coming and it was. Wolves opened their account when a great finish from Fallon from inside the box.
The pendulum had swung Wolves way and some ten miunutes later were level when the impressive Fallon broke into the box on the left hand side, pulled Coyle off his line to chip it over him.
The game got fiesty and frantic with both teams searching for the winner. The Wolves players could be heard asking the referee how long to go.
Two minutes to go and just as Wolves were trying push forward an excellent pass by Burns to Sharp who then fired in a shot which was superbly saved by Kelly.
The final whistle blew and both teams congratulated each other on a tough encounter.
